We are looking for energetic, driven, service-oriented individual to fill our Member Experience Advocate - Universal position at our Geneva branch.
In this role, the Member Experience Advocate - Universal will serve as a full-service liaison between the members and the Credit Union.
The Member Experience Advocate - Universal will perform transactions, open accounts, resolve issues, originate loans, and manage the lobby.
In this role, the Member Experience Advocate - Universal will be offering members a personal experience from the moment they enter the branch, to the moment they leave.
Functions and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for rotating branch duties, including teller functions.
Accurately process financial transactions in accordance with Avadian's teller standards and protocols (i.
e.
placing appropriate holds, examining checks for proper endorsements, etc.
).
Utilize member contacts to develop sales leads and Avadian's Sales Flow Model to cross-sell Avadian's full range of financial products and services.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Avadian products and services with the understanding of their features and benefits, as well as their processes, guidelines, and procedures.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Avadian's client relationship management system (CRM) including referrals, sales and contact events, phone logs, extended information, and reports.
Adhere to 90-day action plans, goals and objectives, secret shops, corporate initiatives, and training opportunities.
Explain consumer loan products to members, profile members' needs, and recommend loan options.
Request, evaluate, and interpret credit information from Credit Bureau reports to ensure compliance with Avadian guidelines and federal regulations.
Explain reasons for denials and explore options for members when accounts are denied.
Balance the branch vault and ITC, as necessary.
Fill in at other branches as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.
Must have the ability to use online computer system, organize transactions and accurately handle large sums of money.
Experience:
Must have at least one year of sales experience or one year of customer service experience.
Education:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
