This position is responsible for working with customer contracts both corporate and locally to ensure the integrity of all contracts are properly entered into the system and adhered to by customers, vendors and Sysco. The position will also be involved with understanding the cost components impact as it relates to protecting profit erosion and sales pricing strategy.
Enters data from customer and vendor agreements.
Maintains and audits contracted pricing.
Monitors and updates Customer profiles, to ensure customer is linked to appropriate Group/National Account ID/Pricing Parent/Price Rule/Validation Rules.
Create, review, and process scheduled and unscheduled reports from different data sources.
Work with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable on vendor receivable collections, file corporate claims, research vendor disputes and keep aging accounts below 90 days.
Research noted discrepancies in deals and agreements and identy problems; make necessary corrections and communicate situation to appropriate departments and associates to ensure system quality.
Prepares forms for particular vendors, as needed; responds to vendor questions or requests for information in an effort to enhance vendor relationships.
Reviews documents authorizing customer rebates. If information is incomplete or ambiguous, returns to appropriate department or associate for resolution.
Processes customer performance rebates after receiving appropriate authorizing documentation.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/
Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior contract administration skills preferred.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Self starter that is detail oriented.
Strong data entry/typing skills required.
Strong computer knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook programs. MS Access experience a plus.
Ability to analyze information and draw conclusions is required.
Ability to handle matters of a confidential nature.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work typically is performed in a temperature controlled office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Working hours could extend beyond normal business hours depending on varied workload.
