Restaurant Server - Part Time (Seasonal-Part Time)

Are you a customer service professional with food service experience? Are you looking for a dynamic and growing organization that will both challenge and reward you? We are looking for a Restaurant Server to provide excellent customer service to our restaurant guests.


OVERVIEW


As a Server, you'll greet customers, take orders, serve food, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.


JOB DUTIES



  1. Greet customers, present menus, take food orders and expedite them as necessary.

  2. Serve food and attend to the customers' needs.

  3. Cash out customers, clear and clean tables, run the dishwasher/sanitizer, and restock utensils, plates, food, and condiments.

  4. Assist in cashing out the register at the end of the day.

  5. Vacuum, sweep, and clean dining rooms.

  6. Assist with general preparation work as directed.

  7. Work neatly, safely and under the sanitary guidelines of the Health Department Rules and Regulations.

  8. Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous restaurant server experience

  • Must be at least 19 years of age

  • Must be able to pass the Safe Food Handler Certificate Program within 60 days from date of hire

  • Basic math skills

  • Professional appearance

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Basic understanding of food preparation and presentation

  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
